The report said that scientists may be one step closer to producing a specific targeted vaccine for killing cancer cells.

Researchers have pinpointed a protein on immune cells which they hope will help them harness the body's defences to attack a tumour. These protein is unique to a type of immune cell called a dendritic cell, which is responsible for triggering the body's defence system.

I think that the results of this research are an important step towards understanding how to create cancer vaccines in the future...

In my point of view it´s fantastic that scientists make this kind of researchings because if they find the cure for this illness they could help people with this problem or may be with the vaccin prevent it and avoid the death to many people.
